Antique English Cottage Form Painted Work Sewing Box. Darling Cottage box with wood applied with painted paper. Roof is mounted with straw thatching, each side with one dormer, one side with 2 chimneys.

The sides of the cottage are painted with trees, foliage and figures of a lady, a child with a lamb and a courting couple.
The hinge opens to a grain paper painted interior.
A paper covered removeable box over set of three drawers. On brass ball feet.

Overall in good condition with some loss to straw , minor fading, age wear and nick or two to the chimneys.
