AAFA-Outstanding & Rare late 18th C. Apple Box in Paint Picture(s) and Description:

An Outstanding Late 18th Century Pennsylvania Apple Box This early apple box is totally untouched, and in it's original condition. It was painted in a burnt umber color,and much of the paint remains. I have photographed all sides for viewing.The sharply canted sides are joined at the corners with "T" head nails. The sides and ends are also joined with "T" head nails and fastenedto a one piece bottom that extends out from the sides and is finished with soft chamfered edges. The style and wonderful balance of the box gives and makes it not just another apple box, the untouched surface is both rare and very desirable to the new or seasoned collector.This box is in very good condition with no damage. (10 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 3" h) Any difference between the estimated and actual shipping charges will be refunded to the buyer!
