Antique 19c Handpainted Russian Brass Wood Keepsake Box Picture(s) and Description:

Up for bid is a very unusual ornate antique hand painted Russian keepsake box. It is made of wood and brass with elaborate geometric patterns and designs painted on the outside. Beautiful craftsmanship! I have never seen one quite like it. There is a key lock as well as a key lock for the small inner chamber as well. Measures 11 3/4 l x 9 3/8 w x 9 h x 2 5/8 d. Condition is very good despite a crack on the bottom small top corner (see pic) and slight wear on the outside from age. There is no key. Any information on this box would be appreciated.
