Antique Chinese Carved White Jade Gilded Brass Box Picture(s) and Description:
A marvelous antique 19th century carved Chinese carved white jade plaque as surface and gold gilded brass box with details depicting a farmer followed by his dog in a continuous rural background. The very finely and intricately carved white jade plaque on top is carved to depict 2 geese perching on a hill among peaches and plants. Coming from a collection acquired in the 60's, this box is one of a kind and a very fine example of this type of boxes.
