This is a rare find, elegant Antique French Sterling Silver & Gold Cigarette Case with Art Deco style decoration, in Excellent Condition!

Superb Cigarette, Cigar or Calling Card case, embellished with elegant Art Deco style Guilloche pattern on both side. Guilloche is a kind of engine turned engraving technique that was popular in late 19th Century to beginning of 20C, and this one has a really delicate and beautiful work. Inside of the case is finely vermeil (gold-washed). A rare piece - Please take a look at detail photos I added, and bid with confidence on this beautiful item!

It measures 3"1/2 (9cm) x 3"1/4 (8.3cm) x 1/2" (1.3cm), weights 3.70 oz (104.8 gram).

As hallmarks we have of French mark for mixed fabrication of silver, gold or platine, used since 1829. There is also a trace of French silversmith's master mark, but it is not clear so I could not identify the name of the maker.

This Antique French Sterling Silver & Gold Cigarette Case is in Excellent Condition. Less than usual light scratchs from long years of light use. Open/close system works perfectly.
