Presented is a stunningly beautiful Antique French Sterling Silver Carving Set of 2pc, nicely housing in a presentation box/case! The handles are made of French sterling silver .950 purity, finely decorated with opulent Rococo or Louis XV style ornamentations include scrollings, flowers, foliage or palmette motifs, etc. No initial or monogram engraved. The most remarkable feature of this set is the safety guard for Fork; adorned with Reindeer's figural top. Perfect for winter holidays! There is trace of French silversmith's maker mark, but they are not clear and I could not find the reference. The blade is made of metal, marked "PARIS".
