Antique Lacquer / Mother Of Pearl Oriental Covered Box Picture(s) and Description:

Beautiful vintage lacquer oriental Box which is decorated with heavy Gold and inlaid Mother of Pearl, flowers, butterlies and a little bird in flight. Box is 7" by 8 1/2" and is 3" high.There is a small oval spot on top where there was something attached, mother of pearl, I do not know. The inside is also lacquer and has handpainted decoration of a bamboo plant. Outside of box is gold washed. Lacquer excellent, only a few spots on two corners show a bit of wear. Please look at others I have listed. All antique and beautiful.
