Antique Porcelain Plaque Bronze Casket Box Gilt Enamel Picture(s) and Description:
A charming antique bronze jewelry casket or box decorated with an ornate pattern of neoclassical motifs including various scrolling foliate and flowers. The lid has a large porcelain plaque decorated with a portrait of two women in classical Greek attire, with a cobalt blue background and raised gold enamel. The lid opens to reveal a blue velvet interior. Overall in good antique condition. Measures 6 3/8" length x 4 7/8" width x 1 3/8" tall.
