You are bidding on an Antique Solid Oak Document Box with Original Finish This Document box was in my mothers antique collection which has been passed down for many generations. The box is very nicely made with attention to detail and craftsmanship. The hinges, the key hole cover, lock with key and side recessed handles are all made of brass held in place with brass slot head screws. The mitred corners have a small spline glued in place to keep the corners tight and true.

The box measures: 16 1/4" long, 6" high and 9 1/4" wide. The thickness of the oak sides are 9/16". There are no visible markings (except on the back of the handles an impressed number 1 and number 8945)
