ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MOURNING HAIR WREATH/SHADOW BOX FRAME Description Up for auction is an amazing Antique Victorian mourning hair wreath in a shadow box frame. Some photo's have glare from shooting outside in the sun. I just purchased this from a Maryland, estate ~ the lady who owned this was over 90 years old. The weaving is exquisite and in many different shades of hair color. It is amazing to me someone can do this type of intricate weaving. I believe the wood oval frame, glass and shadow box is original. There is some damage to just the cardboard backing - one area on the top has a hole. THIS IS JUST THE CARDBOARD ~ NOT THE HAIR WEAVING ~ THE HAIR WEAVING WREATH IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. This is just the most unique item I have sold over the last 12 years on e-Bay.
