This was probably a catalog in a library. It is a nice sturdy box with dove tail drawers and box construction. I believe th handles are brass. A plate between the drawers reads: 'Remington Rand Library Bureau Div. Made in USA'. My Mom used it as a recipe file box and it is the perfect size for that. The drawers work fine and the adjustable metal slides inside work fine. (That's a razor blade Mother had taped to the top.I removed it)
