Antique Wood Treen Peaseware Sewing Caddy Box Large Picture(s) and Description:
This is a wonderful Treen Ware or Peaseware Sewing Caddy all hand turned and all hand made. This is an authentic 19th century example. Retains all of the parts ! The top interior round turned wood trim piece has 2 cracks that have been fixed - this is the only damage I could find on this item and honestly, it could be fixed better and blended to not look cracked. This piece of wood is tightly inserted into the top and only sits inside of the top as decoration.
Normal surface wear to condition but a good and even surface patina and looks great !
Turns well - no parts missing - ORIGINAL OLD MELLOW AND GOOD SURFACE PATINA !
