Early 5" Finger Pantry Box, Old As Hills Picture(s) and Description:
This auction is for a very old, authentic finger box, 5" in diameter, just under 3" high. Came out of an old estate in Preston Hollow, New York. Has an authentic, hard earned patina from years of handling. Has two fingers, a variety of old nails including tiny square ones. Sturdy condition, some minor lid nibbles appropriate to its age and use, one old crack near base. I'd guess this one goes back to 1870s or a bit earlier.
