Fine Japanese Box Meiji Cloisonne Chrysanthem Crest Picture(s) and Description:
This is a museum quality Meiji cloisonne box. Measures 3 1/2" X 3 3/4" and 2" high. It is a very high quality with gold gilding and very highly reflective enamel polish. There is no damage and very very minimal gold wear on corners . We believe it to be a high quality unsigned Namikawa piece. The little marks on inside can be cleaned off, but we were not sure how to do it properly without removing the gold guilding.
