FOREST CRAFT GUILD ARTS AND CRAFTS COPPER BOX AND LID Forest Craft Guild, Chicago c. 1910. Stamped on the bottom: FOREST CRAFT GUILD. Dimensions: Height: 1.5 inches, Width: 5 inches, and Depth: 2.5 inches. Condition: Very good. The patina is old and there are no dents. There is a small (.125 inch) spot of corrosion on the lid and a tiny white mark on the body (see photo). The original green suede lining on the interior is whole, but is discolored and deteriorating. Forest Emerson Mann, a student of Arthur Wesley Dow, founded this arts and crafts metalworking firm in Chicago in 1905. It made jewelry and other items in silver and in base metals such as copper.
