Most of her things were porcelain; so I got the #1 Ranked Certified Antique Appraiser in Maryland; who specialises in antique porcelain to appraise the estate.

He helped me out; he appraised everything for "fair market" value instead of full value.

"Fair market" value is approx. 60% of the full value; a value you would have appraised for insurance purposes in case of fire, theft; other loss.

This was appraised for $725, the full value would have been $1,200.

Luckily he was able to identify the mark; I NEVER would have.
