Great 18th C Pantry Box In Original Green Paint Picture(s) and Description:
A GREAT LATE 18th Century - Early 19th Century RARE LARGE SIZE PANTRY BOX IN ORIGINAL OXIDIZED OLD APPLE GREEN PAINT. Circa 1790-1830, in MAPLE with PINE top and bottom. Typical butt lapped finger construction of the late 18th Century.
Fantastic untouched, uncleaned, GRUNGY PAINTED SURFACE. Fantastic early square Nails. THE ABSOLUTE BEST PAINT YOU CAN FIND.
This fine box is in PERFECT Condition with no repairs or restorations. There is the usual wear and tear you would expect from a box over 200 years old. The painted surface has never been touched, there has never been an attempt to clean it. The oxidation is absolutely wonderful. The top and bottom are tight and all the nails are original.
This great large box is 8 1/2" across and 4" tall.
