RARE 1800′s ANTIQUE SWISS CYLINDER MUSIC BOX Picture(s) and Description:

This is a rare swiss cylinder music box from the 1800's. It was produced by Frankfield & Co in New York. IT PLAYS 10 SONGS!! In the fourth photo you can see the indicator which shows which song is playing (1 to 10). There are two selector switches located on the right side. One switches has the options to PLAY or STOP. (Stop does not stop as soon as the selector switch in moved. It is designed to stop at the end of the song.) The second selector switch has to options to REPEAT the same song or to play all 10 songs in sequence. I do not know the names of the songs but one is (the wedding march?) the song that is played after a couple is married. The other song I recognize is TA RA RA BOOM DEE AY. This music box is in excellent working condition. There is a glass and wood cover that protects it from dirt and dust. All of the tines are in great condition (no broken ones). It measures 21" x 9 1/4" x 6 The lid is fairly plan with flowers on it . . . .BUT . . . . this music box plays beautifully and it has amazing volume!!! I have had more than 100 music boxes and this is the most amazing and beautiful playing music box I have ever seen!!! I am only selling because I need the money. I hate to part with it but I must. My loss is your gain. DON'T LET THIS ONE GET AWAY!!! THIS IS AN AWESOME ONE OF A KIND MUSIC BOX!!!! THIS IS A COLLECTOR"S DREAM !!
