UP FOR BID IS THIS ORIGINIAL U.S. NAVY WWII MARITIMNE SEXTANT MARK II DATED 1943 IN THE BOX THAT BELONGED TO MY GRANDFATHER. UNFORTUNATELY I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT AS HE LEFT NO RECORDS. IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THE BOX HAS A FEW SCRATCHES AND DINGS AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTO'S. EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS IS WHAT IS INCLUDED.

I want to add that the handle screws onto the sextant and in the photo's I simply unscrewed it and placed it to the side. It does screw on securely and is not broken
